Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11:00PM I had a great session with two wonderful kids. It was the first time I had used a little park in Park Hills. I love the way the photos look and had a blast behind the lens. I find it amazing how different each kid is that I work with and it a joy creating portraits that tell their story.
Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 3:07PM I had a great time photographing Steve & Nikki's wedding. Both Steve and Nikki are wonderful people, fun to be around in just know how to have a good time. Mix-in a wedding and some friends and family and it's bound to be a great day. Because their wedding was in the early afternoon and the reception wasn't until later in the evening we had a chance to head to Drees Pavilion for some fun photos. There was only one problem there was a wedding getting ready to start in less than 15min. So it was a quick setup the light and shoot a few frames, the results were amazing and I even had a few photographers who were shooting other groups, around the area stop to ask how I managed to do so much with so little time. Friday, September 18, 2009 at 4:32PM I had a chance to photograph a great couple Lauren & Jon-Michael. During our meeting to discuss ideas and locations they mentioned that they really like Ault Park. I knew at once that we would be shooting there because it's one of my favorite spots to photograph. One idea that Lauren had was to be in the foutain that leads up to the pavilion, I had done this once before with a senior last year and really like the way the images looked but now I had two people to put in to water, and everyone knows how much I like creating these type of images so it was into the fountain. I love they way the images turned out and Lauren & Jon- Michael love them as well, I hope you will enjoy them.
Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 11:51PM I decided to take a break one night and take a walk around Main Street in Florence to capture a few images. I decided to get way back to basics. I set the camera back the old .jpg setting so any photos would be locked in unlike the .nef format that is a true digital negative that I normally shoot. I also made the decision to shoot in black and white to really get back to the look of past days. I thought I would post a few images. Remember it's good to take a min now and then to do something that reminds us how wonderful life is and how lucky we are.
Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:28AM For the last set of the clippers 2010 catalog we were indoors. It's always nice to have a range of photos both indoors and outdoors. This time we even had the coaches involved and we created some wonderful photographs.
